The Yemen Center For Arab Studies The Yemen Center for Arab Studies (YCAS) is a privately-owned educational facility that is dedicated to the promotion of positive images of the Arab world through education and first-hand experience of the Arab world.Through promoting knowledge of the Arab World, YCAS beleives that strong, positive relationships can be built between the Arab World and the non-Arab World. YCAS offers a variety of different programs to assist all individuals in learning more about the Arab World, and we are currently developing Arab Studies coursework to be taught in Yemen. Through cooperation with various Arab Studies scholars and experts, YCAS is developing cirriculum in the areas of Yemeni studies, comparative politics, history, anthropology, archeology, architecture and Islamic studies. The Yemen Center for Arab Studies (YCAS)also facilitates individual scholars and teams of scholars doing research in Yemen. Services include: arranging research permits, providing accommodation, making visa and travel arrangements, and assisting research projects by making introductions and appointments with appropriate individuals and organizations. YCAS will
host study tours for secondary, college, or university teachers
which provide an educational overview of the cultural and geographic
diversity of Yemen and its importance in ancient history, Islamic
