The YCAS Arabic Studies Program is also the sponsor of our Guest Lecture Series. The program is provided to promote interest in the Arab World and to assist Westerners currently residing within Yemen to understand more accurately the environment in which they are living.

Experts from different fields of study will be invited to give lectures concerning various topics, including the history of Yemen and the Arab World as well as discussions concerning geological and archaeological work. Individuals performing research in Yemen through our research program and through other programs from local institutes will be asked to present their research as part of our lecture series.

Films and other media will also be presented to local individuals interested in Arab Studies, to all students studying in YLC & YCAS facilities, as well as any individuals affiliated with other institutions in Yemen.
