As one may well imagine, the People and Customs of Yemen vary greatly by region.  There are clear distinctions among the tribes of the north, and those of the south.  Moreover, life on the coast varies greatly from that of the highlands and that of the desert.

Immense crowds fill the suqs, or markets, to purchase food, jewelry, spices, jambiyas and more.
